The weekend course is held in The Mitre Hotel. The Mitre was first opened in the 1700s as a coffee shop. It closed down as a result of a fire and reopened in 1827 as a hotel. It is now recognised by English heritage as an important historical site in the south east London area. It is close to Saint Alfege Church.
